Storage solutions manufacturer highlighted tooling-industry storage and shop floor organization products, citing customer interest as a highlight of its participation
Metafold Engineering, a storage solutions manufacturer established in 1991, reported a strong response to its participation at PMTX Expo, with the company booking machine orders across multiple days of the show.
Founded by Managing Director Kesar Singh Munjal, Metafold Engineering began with a focus on basic storage solutions for materials ranging from small components to large boxes, pallets, and raw materials. Over the years, the company grew into a full-fledged storage solutions provider, working across industries to help customers organize and manage their material handling needs.
At PMTX, Metafold Engineering showcased a portion of its broader portfolio of 70 to 80 SKUs, focusing on products relevant to the tooling industry. Exhibits included raw material storage and bar and tube storage solutions designed for 6-meter bars and tubes, storage systems for injection molding, power tools, and press die molding, and shop floor storage solutions such as tables, cupboards, CNC and VMC tool holders, tool cabinets, and maintenance and tool trolleys.
“Our objective was to be honest with the customers by giving them the best possible storage solution and help them grow in their production. If there was a clean environment for storage of material, there was easy handling and easy identification, and eventually this helped in production. Our aim was to help them with the best possible storage solution to make their processes easier,” said Karan Singh, who leads business development at Metafold Engineering.
Reflecting on the show’s performance, Singh noted a positive response through the first three days of the event. “At day three, we were standing with a wonderful response. We were fortunate enough to book a few machines on day one and day two, and luckily, we booked a couple of machines on day three also. We were looking forward to a good day four, with a wonderful experience and the management having invited such a decent crowd, which was genuinely interested in having a solution at their end,” he said.
